This team wasn’t struggling. They were already delivering outstanding results. Their leader’s question wasn’t how to fix a problem. It was whether the team could keep performing at this level without eventually burning people out.
The Nimble Index pointed to two areas: Enabling Systems and Rhythms & Rituals. Not a people problem. A structural one. The systems and routines underneath the team’s work were making high performance harder to sustain than it needed to be.
A focused programme was built directly from those two areas, targeting how the team ran meetings and used its systems day to day.
The improvement wasn’t something managed from the top. By six months, it was just how the team worked.
